We are excited to share that our team participated in the IBI Biochar Academy workshop at Chiang Mai Thailand. More than 60 participants from over 12 countries attended the workshop, which focused on sustainable development and innovations in biochar and created an established community for biochar specialists.
The Chiang Mai University biochar road’s flexural strength was enhanced by using biochar as an admixture to replace sand(fine aggregates) for construction.
The Biochar Academy was a great opportunity to meet practitioners and exchange experience with different technologies, biomasses, and project designs. We learned about an amazingly broad range of applications for this fantastic material.
KORA Climate is also looking for chances to work together on biochar projects in Thailand and the SEA region, aiming to make a bigger impact with eco-friendly practices for a sustainable future!
